Visa®  Reloadable Cards

If you're not a cash carrier, but want the flexibility of cash, TIFCU offers a great solution – Visa® Reloadable Cards with the security of a debit card.

You can use a Visa®  Reloadable Card and load any amount between $20 and $3,000 from your TIFCU account to the card. Visa®  Reloadable Cards can be used for purchases at most merchants anywhere Visa® Debit Cards are accepted. Once you spend the funds on the Visa® Reloadable Card, the card can be reloaded with funds from your TIFCU account. Visa® Reloadable Cards are available at both TIFCU locations.

After the first reload, a new card with the cardholder's name will be created and shipped to their home address at no additional cost. Minimum age to purchase is 18.

Visa® Reloadable Cards can be reloaded multiple ways:

  • In-branch reload

  • Online at www.myprepaidbalance.com

  • Western Union locations

  • Direct Deposit – there’s no reload fee with Direct Deposit

  • Mobile Check Load – take a picture of your check and deposit via My Prepaid App (search for My Prepaid App in the Apple App Store or Google Play)

Reload and transaction fees may apply. Visa® Prepaid card is issued by MetaBank™, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. If you already have a Visa® Reloadable card, you can easily check your balance at myprepaidbalance.com. All new and existing Gift Cards will be limited for use in the United States (including extensions such as US military bases) and its territories: Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, United States Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and Guam.
