To qualify for High Yield Checking, share draft accounts must meet all (4) of the following requirements:

Any account not meeting the (4) requirements for High Yield Checking during a statement cycle will earn the rate of a share draft.

Debit and ATM Cards
With a swipe of your TIFCU Debit Mastercard, you have access to all the funds in your checking account. Use your TIFCU Debit Mastercard anywhere you would use cash or credit cards and get more convenient access to your money than ever before!
You can also use your TIFCU Debit Mastercard card to get cash, transfer funds, and it’s accepted at ATMs locally, in the United States, and worldwide. And if you’re already on the go, you can easily check your debit card balance with our Online Banking and mobile banking access! Withdraw up to $500 cash per day and access up to $5,000 at point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
Restrictions apply. Not everyone opening a checking account will qualify for a TIFCU Debit Mastercard.
The TIFCU Instant-issue ATM Card is for those account holders who want to access their savings accounts, don’t qualify for a debit card or choose not to have a debit card. Withdraw up to $500 cash per day and the TIFCU ATM Card works for POS transactions where accepted.
Are You Planning a Trip?
Please contact us if you are planning to travel within the U.S. or abroad and wish to use your credit and/or debit card. Your account is monitored by fraud detection software which helps spot and prevent unapproved transactions. Transactions made outside of your normal locations or purchase history may trigger the software to suspend or block your card temporarily until you confirm the transaction(s) in question. Letting us know your itinerary will help to avoid interruption in credit and/or debit card processing.
For security purposes, it is CRITICAL for the Credit Union to have your accurate phone number, email and mailing address at all times.
Direct Deposit
The Infirmary Federal Credit Union offers our members Direct Deposit. This is the safest, quickest and most convenient way of having your paycheck deposited to your checking or share account. Save time and avoid lines at your local branch by enrolling in Direct Deposit today!
Mobile Deposit
With TIFCU's Mobile Deposit, you can make remote check deposits to your TIFCU account using our Touch Banking App! It's as easy as taking a picture of the check and hitting send! Remember to check the Mobile Deposit box on the back of the check. Stop by one of our locations to sign up for our Mobile Deposit.
Step 1: Login to our mobile banking app and tap the deposit tab. Choose New Mobile Deposit and the account receiving the deposit.
Step 2: Enter the check amount and follow the prompts to take a picture of your check, front and back
Step 3: You're ready to deposit it into your account!
We suggest that you notate on the check indicating it was deposited through Mobile Banking, and keep the check until the funds are posted to your account.
RULES AND DEPOSIT TIMING
Deposits received via Mobile Banking are processed on our mobile deposit business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, until 2:00pm CST. Deposit items received by 2:00pm CST during one of our mobile deposit business days will be deposited into your account by 5:00pm CST. Deposit items received after 2:00pm CST daily will be deposited to your account by 5:00pm CST the following business day. Deposits made after 2:00pm CST on a Friday that is a business day, and at any time on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, will be deposited into your account by 5:00pm CST on the next business day the credit union is open.
Mobile Deposit subject to normal funds availability policy and procedures.
Overdraft Advance PROGRAM (OA)
Overdraft Advance is available on your checking account and provides you with a $500 limit to cover when your checks, debits, or ATM/Debit transactions reach your account before payday. If you don't use it, it costs nothing, because we don't charge an annual fee or application fee for participation in the program. If it's activated by an NSF, then you pay the transaction amount plus an additional $29 per item. Funds utilized by the Overdraft Advance Program must be paid off within thirty (30) days of posting to your checking account or your checking account will be closed and charged off.
